An effective three-step program to guide students to successfully memorize the entire Qur’an and become among those who can rightfully protect the Words of Allah and preserve them.
Our Hifdh Program is designed to raise future reciters of the Qur’an that can carry the Qur’an into their hearts wherever they go in the world. Students will experience a rigorous and structured hifdh program that would include learning tajweed, memorization, and review.
Three-Step Hifdh Program
| Nazarah (Pre-Hifdh) | Students learn the Arabic alphabets, their recognition, connecting them into words, and reading with the harakat (short vowel marks), with correct pronunciation and articulation. Students then progress to learn the rules of Tajweed and read the entire Qur’an with fluency. In order to facilitate the young student, admission to this program can be done on a part-time basis through our maktab program. Click here for further details. |
| Memorization | Students are taught the method of memorizing the Qur’an with applied Tajweed. The curriculum has been prepared as such that it will enable each student to memorize the entire Qur’an within a three to five-year period according to the student’s capability and potential. |
| Review (Daur) | After completion of memorization, the student will train to properly retain the memorization by completing a one-year revision (daur) of the entire Qur’an multiple times. This revision is imperative for the retention of the hifdh. |
Timings
To accommodate a larger number of students we will have two separate tracks –
1) Morning Track: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
2) Evening Track (Part Time): Monday – Friday 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
